What I am going to do

Before this project started in order to determine and gather my ideas into one place to discover what I wanted to look at in my research into practice unit.
To do this i began to start a mind map of all of the areas of interest that i have and the possible avenues I could explore. 

As I had previous experience and interest in filmmaking I decided that this was a key area I wish to explore further. 
As this image demonstrates, the three key areas of my focus will be in Filmmaking, Sound/Music and Glitch Art. From this point on I shall always look at using this method as I found it extremely useful when it came to organising my ideas


The outcome of this mind map has lead me to look at film and education, more specifically analog film in education. I shall be investigating ways to make analog film methodologies sustainable through a DIY approach to recycling old film stock and hand processing using DIY methods. 

For this I shall be using the hypothetico-deductive research methodology, this involves formulating a hypothesis early on in the tests which if made contrary will develop a further line of investigation and lead to more testing and hypotheses.
